only administrator sees files in goodreader

Feb 13, 2014 at 3:13 AM
when logged on goodreader as server administrator, all files are seen and work fine in all folders.
When general user logs onto goodreader, sever logon works fine, but no folders or files visible.
They do have read/write on files and folders\/

any ideas ?

Hi Andy,
Using Goodreader 3.20.0 on iOS 7 on iPad2, all works fine. WebDAV for Whs does not touch files and folder access permissions. It only installs the WebDAV feature of the IIS web server, creates a virtual folder and links the ServerFolder to this virtual path - no further actions on file and folder permissions.

Sorry, I have no ideas. But during testing the addon, I got feedback from users about different behaviours with different client software. Please try to reproduce the issue with the Windows Explorer on Windows 7 or 8. This has a very good WebDav implementation.

Thank you.
Yes it must have been a permissions issue in the shared folders.
